A year ago today I had a Grand Mal Seizure only to find out it was a brain tumor.
Since then I had an awake craniotomy, thirty days of radiation while taking low dose chemo, four thousand doctors appointments, four cycles of high-dose chemo, worked full time as an IT Manager, bought a house, had a newborn, started my certifications on ethical hacking, and continued with my online e-commerce business.
What have I learned from all this? That I am one resilient mother fu*ker.
I will end this post with Bible Verse that sums up my life.
Romans 5:3-5 3 Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
